A contribution to nature – on behalf of you and us

The damage is clearly visible on the satellite images. A devastating fire in the summer of 2022 severely damaged more than 227 hectares of forest in the region around Beelitz. The predominant monoculture made it particularly easy for the fire to spread.

On November 12, we implemented our special “Project 2024”

As announced last year, we planted 250 tree seedlings on behalf of our partners and customers in collaboration with the Viva la Wald project in a wooded area near Beelitz. This creates new habitats for flora and fauna and strengthens climate protection.

Sustainable forest development for a better future

VIVA LA WALD is a regional reforestation project dedicated to the restoration and sustainable development of degraded forests. With the aim of creating resilient mixed forests, the project makes a decisive contribution to environmental and climate protection.

The work of VIVA LA WALD combines ecological responsibility with sustainable change: healthy forests store CO₂, protect the soil and provide a home for countless animal and plant species. They are also indispensable recreational areas for us humans.
